The 5th Xinjiang Mining and Equipment Expo, the 5th Xinjiang Engineering Machinery
The 5th Xinjiang Mining and Equipment Expo, the 5th Xinjiang Engineering Machinery, Construction Machinery and Transport Vehicle Expo, and the 12th Xinjiang Coal Industry Expo officially concluded on the 15th at the Xinjiang Convention and Exhibition Center.
The exhibition, hosted by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and jointly organized by the Autonomous Region Economic and Information Commission, the Department of Land and Resources, the Department of Transportation, the Economic Cooperation of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and Xinjiang Zhenwei Exhibition Co., Ltd., lasted for three days. At the same time, the "Xinjiang Mining Summit Forum" and the "Central Asia Xinjiang Mineral Resources Exchange and Promotion Conference" were also held. In addition, the "First Domestic Engineering Machinery Chief Engineer Forum and Domestic Engineering Machinery Technology Innovation Commendation Conference" was held in conjunction with the Beijing Institute of Construction Mechanization.
The Xinjiang Coal Expo is an important platform for major energy groups and coal mining companies in Xinjiang to purchase equipment and engage in interactive communication. The Xinjiang Mining Expo and Xinjiang Engineering Machinery Exhibition are exchange events that cover the entire mining industry chain, including geological exploration, exploration and development, mining rights trading, mining investment and financing, as well as mechanical equipment exhibitions and promotions.
On that day, over a thousand companies from 12 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, including 13 Fortune 500 companies, 57 foreign companies, and 32 outdoor large-scale equipment display companies. More than 13000 visitors attended to negotiate and purchase, with a total exhibition area of 50000 square meters. Domestic mining companies such as the General Administration of Metallurgical Geology, Zijin Mining, and Zhaojin Mining participated in the exhibition as strategic partners; Many companies, including Sandvik, Volvo, Terex, Danapak, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion, Xiamen Engineering Group, XCMG, Shantui, Yuchai, and others, among the top 50 construction machinery companies, participated in the exhibition.
Since the implementation of the "the Belt and Road", Xinjiang has implemented a series of measures to build the core area of the new Silk Road, and achieved good cooperation with neighboring countries in energy, industry, infrastructure and other fields. The multiple summit forums held concurrently with this expo have brought new development ideas to the economic development of Xinjiang and Central Asia, and will provide sustained and strong technical support and theoretical guidance. The Expo also invited guests from the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Economy to attend, and held a project investment promotion meeting during the conference, fully leveraging Xinjiang's geographical and resource advantages as well as its role as a bridge and link, providing excellent conditions and foundation for cooperation between relevant domestic units and Central Asia.
Slayin Simayi, Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Economic and Information Commission, said that under the new normal, the convening of the Expo has played an important role in curbing economic downturn, boosting industry confidence, and promoting enterprise transformation. Especially in the fields of clean coal utilization, mining exploration and cooperation, transportation and infrastructure construction, and project cooperation in Xinjiang, significant contributions have been made. As an exhibition along the the Belt and Road, the Expo is an important window for Xinjiang to show its development potential and prospects to the outside world, and also a good platform for enterprises to enter Xinjiang and Central Asia. The Expo has received attention and support from relevant departments of provinces and cities in Xinjiang. Shandong Economic and Information Commission, Hunan Economic and Information Commission, Zhejiang Economic and Information Commission, Fujian Economic and Information Commission, Henan Industry and Information Commission, Xiamen Economic Development Bureau, Xiamen Commerce Bureau, Bengbu Economic and Information Commission, Jining Economic and Information Commission, Luzhou Economic and Information Commission, Xuchang Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Xingyang Science and Technology Commission and other departments will organize relevant enterprises within their province (jurisdiction) to participate in exhibitions and visits.
